It is a company in spain trying to get you to pay €987.00 to be listed in their business directory.

I would recommend that you do not pay this as we feel that you will get nothing in return. We do not send them. It is just a directory, so I would not bother, schred it and bin it.

The Credit Crunch has come to town and in our terms it means that from January 09 we will no longer be offering credit to new clients. We don’t offer credit as it is, but many businesses are new to the internet and “assume” that thye can gain 30, 60 or 90 days credit. This is not the case.

As per our terms and conditions of doing business with ourselves we take a part payment before we start work on a project and then the final payment once the website is launched. (that means online by the way !)

1 page websites don’t work !!

Well this is our experience as we see clients and small websites around Wexford no longer online or even bothering to renew their domain names. This is a reflection of what they put into the site. If you have one page online that’s fine, but really don’t expect to be getting in enquiries via this “Holding Page”.

In our 10 years experience we have seen that in general you get what you put in. If you work with us and develop a website to attract business to you then your website will start working for you and start bring in new enquiries each day if not each week.

We have talked before about websites dying and it remains true in 2009.

Google has changed.

Yes, Google have changed their algorithm as we have been writing about since last year. It seems that many people came back to work this week to find their website gone from it’s usual place in the search engine.

Expect more of this in 2009 as “Rich Media” plays a bigger role in getting listed in Google.
